AgriPlace is an innovative company in Amsterdam dedicated to boosting global sustainable food production through smarter data management. We converge and digitize farm data by designing and building an easy-to-use cloud platform: AgriPlace. It provides farmers with structure, efficiency and more fun in complying with market requirements. Your tasks:

In your internship you will be tasked with helping in the different elements that are needed to successfully expand to new sustainability standards and markets. You will primarily be helping in making new content for sustainability and food safety standards to help make agriculture more sustainable and safer around the world.

·         Assist in developing new content for agricultural sustainability standards

·         Work with the content manager to improve the system of developing new content

·         Identify new potential standards / doing market research

·         Support in onboarding of new customers

We are looking for someone that is:

·         Entrepreneurial – has an expansive mindset and is constantly looking for new opportunities and smarter ways of doing things

·         Collaborative – as we are a small company, being able to collaborate well is essential

·         Strong organizational and time management skills. You can handle multiple tasks at the same time

·         Results-oriented with a strong interest in sustainability and technology

·         Good in communicating and comfortable/fluent in Dutch and English, Spanish is a plus

·         Interest or knowledge of the agricultural sector is a plus but certainly not a must

·         You are available for a full-time (40 hours) internship of at least 5 months

Additional information

At AgriPlace, the company language is English as we have team members of different nationalities. In our office in Amsterdam we have a team of around 10 people, additionally, we work with a team of IT developers offshore. We will offer the student a working space and an allowance of 300 EUR/month.
