We are introducing a new platform for payments and transaction reporting for which cyber security and data protection need to comply to the highest standards. We currently have a team of 5 HVA ICT students who challenge us in this area and help us to further improve the security and functionality of our platform. We are open for new interns to continue their good work.

Cobase is a Fintech startup company which develops a completely new multibank platform. It is a bank agnostic digital platform for payments, cash management and treasury. Cobase provides a single point of access to accounts, products and services at many banks and other service providers. The platform is offered to mid and large size corporates.

We work in Amsterdam with a small team of experienced business and IT specialists. Our company works with Agile Scrum, we use state of the art IT solutions and develop innovative ideas to differentiate ourselves as a new market entrant. Cobase is in majority owned by ING Bank NV, but operates autonomously from ING under its own management and under its own brand.

Assignment:
You will support us in developing and testing UX web components:

  • You will learn Polymer JS as a web components library.
  • You will write unit tests for these web components to improve our code coverage.
  • You will refactor code to make it testable and maintainable.
  • You will develop, test and bugfix your own web components.

Profile student:
We are looking for a student with interest in IT innovation, test methodologies and cyber security. You enjoy working in teams and you like to have a high personal impact on the end result. You are interested in improving your coding skills and learn more about test automation of web applications and API's.

What do we offer you ?
You will work in a team of professionals with a lot of experience. They will be happy to support you in your assignment. You will receive a compensation package of 450 EUR per month.

Our current team of 5 HvA interns can tell you more about the assignments they have done for Cobase, so you can get a good impression from fellow students about internships at Cobase. On request we can arrange a meeting at our office in Amsterdam Zuid Oost.
