What are you going to do?
As a software security intern you will build an AppSec pipeline and help development teams onboard. This means unlocking software security tooling for international development teams.
You will script to improve the results of the automated security tests and help to review and optimize the results. In addition, you will work with a security assessment and the manual validation of the security of the various internally and externally developed software applications (aka hacking).
Where will you work?
You will work in the department of the information security office. Around ten people of different nationalities work here. Together with your international colleagues and four direct colleagues in Hoofddorp, you will be responsible for application security, among other things. Your place of employment could be Hoofddorp or Culemborg, our Global Head Office or our Benelux head office.
Who are you?
We are looking for a higher professional education student who likes to take on challenges and who can function well both independently and in a team. You are proactive and have both Dutch and English spoken and written. You have zeal to know how things work. Have passion for hands on approach in solving challenges. Strong understanding of TCP/IP layers and HTTP protocol. With your basic knowledge of application security (you are familiar with OWASP and tools such as Burp and/or Zed Attack Proxy), cryptography and development experience in the field of PHP, Python, C# or Java, you will bring this assignment to a good success. In addition, you will follow a study in the field of IT.
What do we offer?
We are looking for an intern who will be available from the end of August or the beginning of September 2020. The exact duration, number of days and start date can all be discussed. However, you are expected to be available at least four days a week. CEVA offers an internship fee of €500, - per month, based on a full-time contract.
