Who are we?
We are WT interactive, an entrepreneurial creative agency that develops interactive concepts and high-end content for various major brands. We translate any story into physical and audiovisual experiences in order to bridge the gap between the consumer and the brand. You can find our concepts in retail, at events, in healthcare and education or at one of the large corporates. Our expertise in the field of interactive concepting, intuitive interface design, animated content and the capacity for actual implementation are the foundation of our agency. What are you going to do?
Together with our partner Capgemini, WT interactive is looking for dedicated interns that will independently work on the further development of an interactive storytelling platform, StoryTemple. StoryTemple is founded by WT interactive and is built in close collaboration with Capgemini.
The start of the development of the StoryTemple platform has begun end of 2018. We recently launched our Beta version that is currently tested at Capgemini. You will be part of a team who has to bring this platform to a mature and fully functioning level. We have two open assignments:
1. We use a K-nearest neighbour algorithm to match powerpoit slides to SVG files. You will be responsible for furthering this function and enhancing this algorithm.
2. We use object recognition and edge detection to enable using objects to controll the presentation and go to a next slide (so when a certain object is on a certain location on a table, the next slide is showed. The size of the table is recognized by the camera and determines the size of the projected slide).
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with prior experience in the fields of software development with Python and SVG animations. Someone who is able to take existing code as a base, optimise and enrich the code with better and new functionalities with a focus on scalability and robustness.
Education:
• HBO or above
Knowledge concerning:
• Programming languages (Python, C++, Javascript)
• You are creative and goal oriented.
• You have a drive to keep your knowledge up-to-date.
• You like working with colleagues from varying disciplines.
• You are pro-active and able to perform tasks independently.
• You have ambition and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• You have an affinity for interactive media and innovation.
