What will you do?

In this internship, you will research what the possibilities are for testing (native) Android and iOS applications, as well as implement a working solution that can be integrated directly into our current CI/CD pipeline. As we are not able to do extensive manual testing before deploying, regular stable, fast and high-quality automated tests are essential in this process.This is something you will be picking up.

We have a preference for researching what the capabilities of unit testing are, but are open for other suggestions. Your creativity and input is therefore more than welcome!

In this internship, the Tech Stack you will be working with (but not limited to), is as follows:

·       Java / Kotlin / Jetpack Compose (Android)

·       Swift / SwiftUI (iOS)

·       Realm

·       REST API’s

Moreover, your scope of work will also include:

·       Researching what automated testing capabilities are available

·       Advising what the best automated testing framework is for native mobile applications

·       Building a proof of concept that:

              o   Can be ran locally on demand 

              o   Can be integrated in our existing CI/CD pipelines

              o   Can easily be expanded by our mobile developers in the future

We ask

·       You have an educational background in Software Engineering.

·       You are searching for an (‘meewerk’) graduation internship in Software Engineering.

·       You are fluent in English.

·       You are willing to come to the office in Utrecht for 1-2 days per week.

·       You work independently and are proactive.

·       You are living in The Netherlands.
