Assignment description
To develop the off-road autonomous driving solution, Saivvy is relying on a driving simulator called CARLA ( https://carla.org/) . While the simulator is great for autonomous driving in urban environments (cities), it has still been developed for off-road environments. Your task will be to create new off-road maps for the CARLA simulator. The CARLA simulator already has all the infrastructure and documentation to create new maps, and your main goal will be to familiarize with the system and, together with the AI team of Saivvy, create new off-road navigation maps.

Computer programming skills: Simulator developers will need to have strong programming skills, particularly in languages such as C++, Python

Experience with game engine development is a plus: Simulator developers may use game engines, such as Unity or Unreal Engine, to build their simulations. Experience with these tools can be beneficial.

Strong problem-solving skills: Developing a complex simulator involves solving a wide variety of technical challenges. Strong problem solving skills are essential.
