Besides the Imaging Business Unit, Nikon is also active in the Microscope industry with its Instruments division and in the chip manufacturing Industry with its Precision division.

Nikon Europe B.V. is the European Headquarters of Nikon Corporation and has subsidiaries in 15 European countries. Nikon Europe B.V. focuses on the Imaging Business, which covers digital/film cameras, lenses and accessories. The European Headquarters coordinates and support’s all business activities across Nikon’s European markets. The SAP Support Department is part of Nikon Holdings Europe B.V. The SAP Support team is giving support in the modules Sales & Distribution, Material Management, Finance & Accounting, Customer Service, Process Integration, Human Resources and Business Warehouse.

Currently we have an internship available within the SAP Support Department.

Internship assignment

The aim of the internship is to assist the SAP team in their daily tasks supporting Nikon staff in Europe with all SAP related matters.

Your main areas of support will be:

• Fulfil first line support role, answering the SAP Support telephone line and monitoring incoming issues in Topdesk, the issue registration tool.
  

• Set up a knowledge base for both the users and the SAP Support team

• Monitor interfaces to and from external (Non-SAP) IT systems (e.g. 3PL, E-commerce, Customer EDI, etc.)

• Set up of key user structure and procedure on providing them all the tools they need for their daily tasks

• Proactively informing Nikon SAP community about newly developed functionalities

• Assist the SAP team during projects

We are looking for a third year student currently attending a higher education (HBO) with an interest in Business Administration and/or Information Technology. You will be part of an international working environment handling incoming calls/emails, therefore good communication skills in English, both written and verbally, are required.

You will receive an internship fee of €350,- gross per month, based on 37,5 hours a week. The internship is for 5 to 10 months, depending on the possibilities offered by the school. The office of Nikon Holdings Europe B.V. is located in the Tripolis 100 building at the Burgerweeshuispad 101 in Amsterdam.
