For our Information Security Department, we are currently looking for an enthusiastic intern with a background in information security or cyber security, who is interested in helping us to further develop our ISO27001 compliant information security management system.

Information Security is part of our Governance, Risk and Compliance organisation but is also strongly connected to the IT department. As intern you will work closely together with employees of both departments. Your assignment will focus on the following topics:

• Vulnerabilities

  • Investigate weaknesses discovered through vulnerability scans

  • Propose solutions and help us indicate false positives

• Audit logs

  • Based on the Windows Security Baseline, determine which set of events suits our needs best

  • Investigate which events outside of the Windows security baseline are interesting to track

  • Determine which events to be logged from Linux servers, network devices, etc.

• SIEM

  • Monitor SIEM alarms, analyse and follow up

  • InAdmin RiskCo has deployed AlienVault USM Appliance, which combines functionality for SIEM, Asset Discovery, Inventory and Vulnerability Scanning. We are currently only using a subset of the features that it has to offer. We would like you to investigate what more we can get out of this appliance.

• Office365

  • Investigate the security settings Office 365 has to offer and best suit our company needs.
