Our platform is analysing thousands of hours of video each day, including international TV, radio channels and online videos. Through AI driven metadata, we ensure that our clients deliver a more engaging and unique experience to their users by improving the search functions, recommendations, visuals and advertising on their video platforms. Our customer base includes major operators and broadcasters located around the globe including Telenet, NOS, VTR Chile and YouSee, delivering enriched viewing experiences in over 30 million homes.

What you’ll do 

Every day we process 30k hours of video and audio, meaning our microservice infrastructure is under constant load and applications need to perform well. You would be working together with our software engineers to ensure the platform can keep up with the company’s requests and growth. But that’s not it: while having the chance to work together with young and experienced colleagues you will also have room to explore any interest in Machine Learning.

Our team consists of highly motivated and experienced Software Engineers and Machine Learning Engineers, all working towards the same goal: enable new and ground-breaking applications based on audio and video content.

Whether you are looking for a regular or graduation internship, there is plenty of room for exciting projects at Media Distillery. We are looking forward to hearing about the specific direction you would like to develop in and working together on how we could make that happen! 

We predominantly work in Java with the Spring Boot framework, combined with many other exciting technologies like k8s, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ and Jenkins.
