As Virtuagym keeps on growing, we are now looking for a new face to complement our Data Team as Product Management Intern - Data & Analytics. Will you join us in our quest to create a healthier and happier world?

This is a rare opportunity - the type of internship that just doesn't come around very often. If you're looking to gain experience in the world of product management, data-analytics, international business, innovation and technology, then this is for you. As a Product Management intern, you will have the opportunity to work on new data-driven innovations; Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning - everything is possible.

This is a remote position (within the Netherlands), where you will be working for our Amsterdam office. We are looking for a full-time intern . We are a remote-friendly company, meaning you can work from your home at all times within the Netherlands. Additionally, you can work from any location you want within Europe up to 3 weeks at a time for a maximum of 12 weeks in a year.

What the role is all about

During this exciting internship you will support one of our awesome innovations in which we are using the data generated by millions of app-users. You'll be challenged in a fast moving environment with exceptional learning opportunities.

Your responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with customers, designers, engineers, data scientists and product managers to build amazing products

• Discover, research, design, prototype and iterate towards winning solutions for challenging customer problems

• Create value out of billions of rows of data generated by thousands of clients and millions of consumers;

• Learn all about Product Management, Project Management, BI, Data Science & AI;

• Be part of a talented international team of data scientists and product managers 

What you will bring to the Data team

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Product/Industrial Design, Marketing, Innovation Management or a similar field

• You are enrolled at an EU University, and are already living in the Netherlands/open to move to the Netherlands [must have]

• Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with great initiative and work ethics;

• Entrepreneurial mindset and it gives you energy to collaborate extensively with different people

• Full English working proficiency (verbal and written);

• Strong analytical and people skills;

• Proactive and full of new ideas;

• Experience in the world of Data & Analytics and/or Data Science & AI

• You are available for a full-time internship for at least 5 months;

• An interest in health, fitness, nutrition, productivity and/or workplace wellness are additional assets.

Important note: 

• Due to long waiting times to get a social security number (BSN or 'burgerservicenummer'), we are only considering candidates based in the Netherlands who already registered with a BSN.
