DotX Control Solutions has developed revolutionary (back-end) code for controlling (multi-axis) 3D printers, such as robotic printers, and 5-axis CNC/3D printing machines. This code allows to 3D print very complex objects without supports and on top of curved objects. However, both the front-end and back-end regularly require changes.
The current framework is a front-end in React, with ThreeJS is used for visualizing the 3D elements. The backend is in Django, from which we are calling our precompiled ‘5-axis-slicing’ library. Your task is to develop the architecture for the complete software. You will be guided by an experienced programmer.
