About neXus
neXus is a new network platform for positive societal and environmental impact. Founded in October 2023 as a non-profit organization, its mission is to address today’s sustainability and environmental challenges by uniting all necessary parties in the GreenTech sector.
We firmly believe that enduring solutions to today's societal challenges require active participation from all segments of society. From research labs and universities to public agencies, NGOs, startups, and large corporations, everyone has a crucial role to play. By connecting all parties, neXus is not just addressing issues, we’re redefining the way sustainability problems are solved.
Currently we are in the initial phase of building and growing neXus. The Board and its Founding members are putting their own time and lots of energy in making neXus a sustainable initiative.
Assignment
The intern assignment is to support building a non-profit start-up network from the ground up. neXus objectives for 2024 are, among others, to grow the membership base, organize inspiring events, start impactful collaboration initiatives between members, and share these to the outside world. You will play a role in achieving this!
What you will do
More specific, we expect you to work on tasks like:
- Communication with existing and prospective members;
- Keeping track of membership registrations;
- Supporting the board with organizational matters;
- Developing and executing (online) communications
- Organizing events;
- Promote neXus among the different member types
What we are looking for
A student with a background in entrepreneurship, administration and/or IT, with an interest in sustainability and communications, that shares the same passion for making meaningful impact.
You should be a self-starter that loves a challenge and be available at least one day per week, and ideally two. We are looking for a period of at least 5-6 months. Start: February 1st.
