Who are we

Ascended Lightworkers is a platform that empowers people in their journey of awakening, healing, transformation and ascension, by connecting them with trusted Lightworkers offering a variety of spiritual and healing modalities from all over the world. We provide Lightworkers with the platform, marketing exposure and services, so they can grow their impact and reach more clients.

Here are our achievements so far:

• We have 63 Lightworkers on our waitlist from 22 countries

• We have 18 Lightworker profiles already uploaded

• We started our Ascended Lightworker podcast with the first 2 episodes

• We started our marketing campaigns on Instagram, Facebook and newsletter

• We got our first bookings and clients through the platform!

Our mission

At Ascended Lightworkers, we aim to bridge the gap between the business and tech world and spirituality, healing and living aligned with one's most authentic expression of the soul. With our platform and technical solutions, we empower professional Lightworkers in spirituality and healing, to organize their business and grow their impact. With our marketing and communications, we make spirituality accessible to a wider audience, showing how it can provide solutions to real problems and enable people to live their best lives. 

The internship 

We are currently hiring 2 software engineering interns to join the team. Along with the founder (experienced in business, engineering and product management), you will work on the further development of the platform and key items on the roadmap, such as:

• Lightworker admin platform

• Client Testimonials

• Integrated Video Calling system

• Payments system  

You will have the chance to build real-life software products used by clients and gain experience in high-demand professional skills, such as React, Golang, Next.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, Git, Agile and more. 

Key Responsibilities

• Writing front-end and back-end code for the platform

• Participate in the development, testing and deployment of new features

• Assist in designing of technical solutions

• Troubleshoot technical issues

• Participate in daily stand-ups 

Your profile

• You are an HBO or WO Bachelors student in Software Engineering or a similar study program

• You are fluent in English

• You are familiar with basic coding frameworks, such as HTML, CSS & Javascript

• You are ambitious, eager to learn and take initiative

• You are interested in entrepreneurship (bonus)

• You are interested in spirituality, personal development, meditation, manifestation etc (bonus)

Practical Information

• The duration of the internship is 4 months with the possibility to extend to 6

• You can choose between working full-time (with 5 days off) or 4 days per week

• You can work remotely or from our headquarters in de Pijp, Amsterdam 

• You should bring your own laptop
