Full-stack: Customer support tools

Implement tools for customer support when the only thing on site is a phone with the Ingy app. This is not just implementations of screens, it’s fundamental architecture that enables a very smooth customer support infrastructure. We need to find a common abstraction (can be MQTT, can be something else) that allows us to interface seamlessly with Ingy systems from everywhere.

Encryption: Licensing “on the edge”

Ingy has on-boarded dozens of manufacturers that produce thousands of products with Ingy firmware on-board. Each of these products can be licensed. Naively, one would contact a licensing server and put a license on each product which is tied to something identifying that product. However, those manufacturers can have factories that are air-gapped and don’t reach the internet.

Full stack: Pre-commissioning auto-mapping tool

Design and implementation of a pre-commisioning auto-mapping tool. The goal is to have a very smooth process of configuring a new Ingy installation at a very large warehouse, large university building, large office, or large industrial complex.

In the light industry customers need to define what sensors to use in large warehouses or offices. The specifications of those sensors can be very detailed.

This is a fundamental assignment. Consider the current Ingy firmware, version 1.0. Redesign the firmware from scratch based on fundamental computer science principles.

The Ingy network consists of thousands of devices that form a large network that does cover a large 1) industrial compound or 2) logistic hall. In these industrial complexes there is a need for very safe work environments, which requires knowledge of the presence of people.
